The Assassin Idol
Psychological Horror / Crime Thriller
A corporate land broker purchases a mysterious idol that promises to eliminate his enemies—only to discover the price demanded afterward will cost him everything
Standalone novel with series potential.
Milton Wright has built his career on bloodless harm. Sent to New Orleans to secure land for an oil company preparing for oil and natural resource excavation, he prides himself on leaving nothing behind but signed contracts and quiet displacement.
At the edge of the swamp, he meets Darla Mae LeFleur. Refusing his initial offer, she demands three times the price for her land—and Milton agrees. The deal is done.
Then he sees it.
A carved idol watching from a high shelf. Darla Mae tells him the truth: the idol chooses its owner. And it has chosen Milton.
She claims the idol can eliminate his enemies. No gun. No witnesses. Only intention, ritual, and a willingness to accept what follows.
Milton doesn’t believe in superstition. But when the idol delivers exactly what it promises, he learns that murder may be the smallest price it demands.

Young Adult series.

When a mysterious spirit appears to six misfit students during detention, it warns them that an apocalyptic portal will soon open on Earth. The only way to stop it is to find and collect the seven magical flutes of Pan before the coming Blood Moon.
The unlikely heroes include Zoe, the great-granddaughter of New Orleans voodoo legend Marie Laveau; Marigold, a junior witch descended from the Salem covens; Lucas, a rebellious young werewolf; Vanessa, a wealthy vampire with ties to Dracula himself; and Vic, a boy-genius mad scientist whose greatest creation is his monster, Quentin.
As the group searches the city for the flutes, they must outwit the sinister secret society known as the Den of Pigs, led by none other than the original Frankenstein monster and Dracula.
Saving the world might be the easy part. Surviving ninth grade together may be harder.
